PARTNERSHIPS
Founded by lead mentor Filippo Dispenza in 2013, this team from Brooklyn, NY is one of four FIRST Tech Challenge teams in John Dewey High School. Team 8088 has been competing in FIRST for a total of 11 seasons, making memorable achievements such as their win during the 2021 NEW YORK-NYC Championship, allowing them to be one of two teams in all of New York City advancing to the World Championship in Houston, Texas. We are currently sponsoring them for the FIRST DIVE: INTO THE DEEP season (2024-2025).

MEET THE TEAM
This is the duo behind it all. Coming all the way from Brooklyn, NY, they began their journey studying science, technology, engineering, and math in their freshmen year at John Dewey High School. Taking courses such as Intro to Robotics and Intro to Computer Science, this sparked an interest towards FIRST Robotics Competition Team 333, the MEGALODONS which started it all. From simple hands-on tasks to becoming leaders in their team and participating in fast paced competitions worldwide, the experience gained here was like no other. Years later, they began 3DBuffalo with the dream of making it big and giving back to their roots. Now studying at the University at Buffalo, what started as a college side gig is now turning into so much more. Meet Britney and Yesuah.
